I just bought a pair of 1,000 grain rockies at Dicks. Rubber is the way to go and with all the attention I have been paying to being scent free this year I knew I had to make the commitment to getting rubber boots as well. This year I decided that I am not going to do anything to get busted. I figure I can get away with 1,000 grains for almost any conditions I will encounter this year.

Big lacrosse fan here! I won' t buy another pair of rocky boots again as long as I live! Took me a dozen pairs of them to finally realize my money could be better invested! And the rest of my family dropped the rocky line of boots, also.
I also use the lacrosse burly' s (1200 grams) until the daytime temps. fall into the 20' s, and then I switch to the lacrosse pac-boots. I mainly hunt from a climbing stand.
