It may not be what your looking for,but for hunting I would wear a good pair of rubber boots.I use LaCrosse 800 gram burles.Leaves no scent, can walk thru mud, water .You feet stay warm too. I think if you ask around on this board you will see alot of people use them. hope this helps.

Yes sir, I' m getting ready to make the switch to all rubber boots. With the thinsulate these days, these boots have come along way. Not to mention they are a pretty good scent control item compared to leather boots.

Wolverine with Thinsulate . . . of course Im in Texas . . . so the feet dont ever really get ICE cold . . . but a small amount of Thinsulate helps.

http://www.basspro-shops.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=38932&hvarDept=500&hvarE vent=&hvarClassCode=3&hvarSubCode=1&hvarTarget=bro wse

They were also supposed to be $120 . . but I bought them at the end of the season at Academy for $55 . . so that may have influenced my opinion too.

I am with JD: Irish Setters. Lots of different styles, weights and insulation to choose from and a very respectable price point.

I prefer the Cordura boot with the gore-tex liner. My feet seem to sweat whether it' s hot or cold so I would much rather have a breathable boot. I tried the rubber boots and ended up with ice cold soaking wet feet. With my Rockies my feet always stay dry. On the other hand, most of the guys I hunt with wear rubber boots and really like them.
