I am considering it. Bass pro shops has the black one for $179 on sale ($13 shipping though). I started bow hunting a couple years ago and it is driving me nuts not to have a range finder. I sit in my stand and wonder how far away things are. Not good. And this one is 1/2 yard out to 100 yards and then 1 yard accuracy out to 400. That should cover everything. And it weigh 7 oz!! One handed operation too. Anyone have one? Any review links, I couldn' t find anything. Anything at all? Thanks!!

Check out www.cabelas.com and you should find product review for laser rangefinder buyers guide. It explains on how they work and on different models they sell. I hope this help you out and good luck.

this rangefinder was the one i had before getting a leica 800. the nikon works great. it got a little hard to see when it was dark. i went to the leica because everything was red. you will be satisfied with the nikon.
