Waterproof Breathable Camo????
I' m looking to purchase some new camo for some trips this fall. Do any of you have opinions on Cabela' s DryPlus fabric versus the name-brand Gore-Tex? There seems to be a real cost difference, but I didn' t know how Dry Plus stands up to GT performance wise. Any input is appreciated!!!!!!

I haven' t had experience with that particular model but I' ve have bad experiences with other, cheaper, " waterproof" goretex substitutes. On the other hand, I' ve never had a bad experience with goretex. As with many things, you get what you pay for. My advise is to get Goretex. There' s a reason it costs more, it works.

I have had good luck with Dry plus. I currently have the Cabelas packable rainsuede with dry plus and have been pleased with it. Has not leaked so far. Only had it a year, so haven' t used it too many times. So far I would recommend it. Have another garment with fleece and dry plus that I have used for years and it has not leaked.

Haven' t tried the DryPlus so might be worth a shot but I have lots of Gore-Tex clothes and they have never failed to do what they are supposed to. I' ve tried other knock-offs and they all failed to perform. I only buy GT now. Always works great and I know it will in the future.
Wife and I bought the 010 Rainwear w/ ScentLok from Cabelas and the coats work great. Highly recommended. Just need some matching bibs and I' m set.
BTW, played with a Rhino 110 today. VERY COOL! Bought some T7200 radios last summer and already wishing I had bought the Rhino' s instead. Pretty cool to know exactly where your partner (read:wife) is located.
