lookin 4 a good flashlight
I am in the market for a good flashlight to walk during the dark hours to from stand. I have a green led cap light i use to close in on my spot, but i need a bright light to help me find my way. I am looking to spend up to $75.

There are many LED headlamps out there that have several settings and colors.
For instance my headlamp has a long distance spot light setting, a flood light setting and then a setting for red light.
It's worked well for me. I've never felt that i needed more light that this provides

For a headlight I use the Princeton Tec Quad...
For a flashlight I use a Coast LED that costs about $45 from Lowe's Hardware...This light uses 3 AAA batteries and the beam can be adjusted so you don't get blinded when tracking...
An added advantage, both of these make blood glow, like the Coldman lanterns we used to use when tracking...

It is nice now that there are plentiful LED lights out there that if you want BIG light you are no longer struck using flashlights that require 2, 3 or even 4 of those 123 batteries which are about $9-10 a piece and when the batteries go dead they do so quickly that most guys thing their bulb burned out.
There is no "best flashlight" IMO. But I don't think you need to spend more than $20 for a really nice LED light. Many use very common and reasonably priced AA or AAA batteries and can really throw some light.
