Default Most affordable climbing treestand and ground blind

I was just wondering what the most affordable climbing tree stand that is also comfortable and a good ground blind for archery. And is ebay a good place to buy a climber and ground blind or should I get it straight from cabela's, or a bass pro shop or something along those lines. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Summit makes a Viper Classic that is all steel construction that sells for around $150. It is a few pounds heavier than the aluminum constructed stands, but is very comfortable. I have used one for several years.

IMO ebay can be a good source for stands but you have to watch the shipping on large items like that. The Summit Viper(steel or aluminum) is an excellent stand that is comfortable and secure.

Last weekend I made a ground blind out of some 550 cord and camo burlap. I tied the cord tothree trees in a V shape and draped the burlap over it. Some zip ties also came in handy. I sat behind it in a lawn chair.

Also try Amazon.com and search for what you want. They find the best prices, I bought the Ameristep Brick House Hub style pop up ground blind on there for $113.00 STMD.

Afordability should be low on the list of qualities you want in a climber. If the climber has it all it's worth it, unfortunetly none do and some charge way to much.

Just had one that had "a lot" start crumpling on me 3/4 the way up a tree. I finished the climb, hunted and started down. Didn't thinkthe standwas going to make it to the bottomin one piece as it started cracking as soon as I started down. By the time I hit bottom it was toast. Not good butI learned something else I want in a stand, greaterreinforcement were the stand contacts the tree as that's wereit seperated, like making a wish only a bad one.

Local shop has a pile of Ground Maxx Eclipse blinds for $69. They are regularly $169.99. Shipping souldn't be that bad.
I bought one...they are very nice hub style blinds with shoot through mesh.
