I'd recommend washingwith a good handfull of baking soda. Then hang in the wind and sun for a few days. I'd stay away from artificial scents that are supposed to smell like, to us, like something familiar. Deer know what stuff smells like. I don't know that they would be fooled bychemicals that simulate a real scent.

I used baking soda before all the detergants came out, ive tried them all and baking soda is cheaper and more effective.

i also use BAKING SODA but i dont wash my clothes in washer.
you will pick up wash smells from clothes washed before.
i hand wash my clothes in sink,then i hang them in basement away from cooking odors to dry.
