Default Looking for affordable and lightweight climbing tree stand.

Hello. I'm looking for a small, lightweight, affordable ($200 - $250 max) climber. I have an older api climber that I love but it's so bulky that I find myself not using it as much as I'd like because of that.

What I'm looking for is something like The lone wolf stands but w/o the $300+ price tag. I'd love to hear from anyone that has one that they are happy with.

thanks!

I WOULD TAKE A LOOK AT CABELAS WEB SITE THEY ARE RUNNING SOME PRETTY GOOD DEALS ON SUMMIT VIPERS, AND BUSHMASTERS. THE VIPER ONLY WEIGHS 20 POUNDS AND THE BUSHMASTER IS A LITTLE LESS THAN THAT.

I had the summit viper. I bought it b/c of all the rave revies on it. It was a great all day stand. But I found it was to big and bulky to carry. Everytime I went through a little brush everything would get hung up on the cables. I ended up selling it mainly for the size and "bulky" factor of it. I also didnt care for setting it up quickly and quietly. Buyinga lonewolf hand climber this weekend. Cant recommend any others, b/c I havent tried the others. Best bet is to go into the store and actaully take a look @ displays to see how big/small they are.

I bought a Wolverine from Wal Mart. It is a Gorilla Gray back branded for sale under the aformentioned name. It is the same exact stand, with all the same accessories for $99.00. I got mine on clearance after season for $75.00 and 2 weeks later the other one was 50 bucks. oh well

I like the stand, its lite and quiet and fast....
