It depend on the way you want to hunt them. I hunted them for years and had a few different breeds. The Walker is a good breed thatis a "hot" or freshtrailer,the Black & Tan is a "cold" or old trailer...

One that does what you want. They are all good. You just have to be lucky and get agood one.

everything above is correct. go with what you like in color. walkers are the most popular and is what i hunt but have hunted english, blutick, b&t and even redbones that were great hounds. if you want more indepth info on the "best dogs" in a certain breed. go to ukcdogs.com and go to their forum. alot of people there to help in getting you a good pup or you can email me and i can help any way i can

It all comes down to personality in the dog also. Some are better "learners" than others
