Shump'sright on the money. I picked up a pair at the BassPro in Destin and had cash left over for some more ammo. I got mine for $75.00. I looked at the boots at Sportsmans Guide, but w/ the s&h, it made sense to check out the BassPro shop. Glad I did.

mine have been from the rockys mts to newfoundland to the far north of Quebec snow mud and rain and after 12 years i just started getting wet feet not to bad for 12 years.I must say they are the best boots i have ever had

i've never seen "waterproof" snake boots. i have seen and owned snake boots that "claim" waterproof but aren't. every pair i have worn, my dad has worn, my uncles have worn or anyone else i know....were only waterproof the first time they were in water. seems like after the initial break in, they start to fail. i know they may work in snow but here in the swamps, when you're actually walking in water for long periods of time, they don't seem to work. i also do know that they are only waterproof up to a certain point, not to the top...and this height was not exceeded. if i could find a pair that actually did what they claim, i don't care what the price would be, i'd buy them.
