Uncle Matt, you've been on here a long time. You must be old and cranky. Sorry if the word boob was just a little too offensive.

I bought mine this spring and used it during Turkey season. It seemed to work great. :D

As if you haven't heard it enough but Yep, they do work.

Burned mine all day today ta' keep the skeeters away at the Smallbore match. Had my own DMZ. De-Moskittoed Zone

I just bought the lantern version to use on my deck, it worked like a charm. I will be getting the smaller one for early bow season.

Can you keep it on while moving around the woods, bottoms, scouting/hunting, etc.... or do you need to be still for them to be effective?

You can keep it on while moving, but they recommend you keep it horizontal. However, unless you're moving VERY slowly, you'll be moving ahead of the vapor/smoke plume that it puts off and it won't do you any good. I find any kind of breeze over 5 mph or so is enough that you usually don't need to burn it either, as the wind keeps the bugs off for the most part. Where it shines is that early morning/late evening when the wind dies all the way down, or when you're thick in the woods and not getting much air movement at all.

*I* personally love these, althought I've never used them while hunting. Just camping or fishing. :D You can buy them at Walmart or Academy or any sports store, I think.
