I would second the Eberlestock option. I bought one last year and used it to pack out a couple of caribou one week and then pack a tent, sleeping bag, gear and food to go deer hunting another week. Being frameless, it's very light, but gives a lot of support. Has a great sling for your rifle, so that you can free up both hands on your way out without any concern that the rifle is going to fall off.
