Any ever use this scent? Have you had success? I just bought a bottle when I went fishing in Iowa. It was on sale for a measley 99 cents so I couldn't pass that deal up. So back to the original question, do you use it? How? When? And do you have success?

If I remember correctly it is a rut-oriented scent possibly made up of phermones, urine, etc... Similar in nature to a doe in estrus scent. As such I would use it in the same manner during that time of the year.

Yeah, it is a pre-rut and rut scent and I do hunt in the rut. I wanted to know more-or-less about peoples success and tactics...

I tried the 307 product a few years ago with no positive or negative results. Maybe I just didn't use it at the right time or place, but it really had no impact on my hunt.

I have tried and didnt notice any difference. I put it in a couple of them tink's scent bomb containers and hung them on branches around my stand. Didnt help me any, but that dont mean much. If you done bought it, might as well try it.

The only real problem I saw with it is that many times it is left on the store's shelves for extended periods of time...even restocked year after year....like many other scents on the market. I believe they lose their effectiveness over time in this case.

As for tactics, when I did use it I used it conjunction with a drag rag as well as at scent posts within 20 to 30 yards of my stand during the late pre-rut.

It's not as much a sexual scent as a curiosity scent.I used it early with some results and none at all.I had a doe track me to the tree and a woodchuck.I don't use many scents, only coverup scents.

Smells like anise, I put a few scent posts out one morning and had a 8 pt. buck coming running straight at it. Definately pulled him in. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn,t.
Best of luck

I used it a few times. The last time I used it I was in the deep swamp, and had been settled in for an hour.I stuck a cotton wick on the end of my pull up rope, and saturated it with #307.I eased it down, and let it touch the ground, then I pulled it up to approx. 3ft above ground level.Within4 minutes a deer was blowing 175yds away.I pulled it up,put it in a zip lock, and ended up seeing 7 deer that afternoon. So,I quit using it.It's supposed to be a curiosity scent, and rut scentlike recurver67 said.
