Hunting hog/boar in the midwest !
Some family and I are trying to plan a trip for boar hunting and are wondering where the best places would be to hunt in the midwest/southeast. We are willing to drive about 10-12 hours from northern or central Indiana. I'm not sure how we feel about the ranch/preservation idea, especially since we have hunted wild boar in New Zealand. If we are going to pay at least $700 for a boar, it would be great for it to be a little better than walking around on 150 acres or so to shoot a hog and be done by noon the next day. Anyone have any thoughts, or where there is a large population of boar in an area that would be good to hunt. .besides Texas?
Any input, direction, or advice is welcomed, please!!
