2009 is the start of my 53rd year of Bowhunting & i've been fortunate to have taken Whitetail, Mule Deer, Elk, Caribou, Black Bears & more.
I wanted something to fill the off season so started going for Hogs & Exotics around 2000 (Tx., Ok.). Many Hogs & several Exotics later I do enjoy this part of my sport. Lets see you pics.
This is a Ram I took after 5 days (2003) of hunting the last hour of last day.

Nice-I just got back from Fl. (not hunting) but did see lots of hogs on a trip through a swamp.

I have 1 Fallow, 1 Axis, 1 Ram, 1 Boar, 1 Buffalo Mounted & 3 Euro's 1 Ram, 1 Red Deer & 1 Fallow. No pics though.

I have several Whitetail, Mule deer, Caribou, Full Black Bear & Large Bear Rug with Elk spread around the house.

I got shoulder mounts on the first two. I'm having a skull mount done on the third.

My 1st hog-1965-check out the Arrows on the bow quivers-wood with MA3 Blades.

There's more but I think 3 is enough, lol.......for now, lol......:biggrin:
The boars are european mounts, wanted to get the first one mounted, but they wanted over $600.00 to do it and at the time, money was tight, so I had to do the next best thing.

Just started hog hunting about 4 months ago and ready for it to start getting cooler so I can get back to it. This is my only so far. Hopefully by this time next year I will have many.

This is the size Hog (or smaller) I try for now-I have the "BIG BOAR" syndrom cured. Now I want the best Roasted meal we can get.

I'm new here so just getting to check everything out.These are pics of my nephew, who traps hogs for Citrus County and hunts there as well.He started with guns then bows and now mostly uses a knife and dogs.Personally not my idea of fun, but I'll make his knives.Dave:biggrin:

Thanks! I have a lot more of deer and javelinas and bobcats, birds, etc.
But my fav is HOGS!

This is my Best hog to date-tusk wise. chased this hog in riverbottoms of N.E. Tx. free range with aid of hounds for 3 hours b/4 putting him down at 15 yards just as he was about to charge us for the 7th time.

Yes & he knew how to use them-He really took a toll on the hounds.
He passed me one time at maybe 2 feet-I had one leg behind a 4" scrub tree, & he was chasing the fella who owned the Hounds. He actually slapped the Hog on the nose & made a QUICK J turn as the Hog passed & tried to slice him.
When I was getting ready to make the shot I said "don't get to far away with that Rifle" & he said kill him, I left it on the 4 wheeler (a mile away ).

I missed out on my away trips (usually 2 to Ok. or Tx) for hogs this year due to wife being very ill. Getting ready for Deer Season now but planning some hog Bowhunting after Deer Season or after I "fill" my tags. I'm allowed 1 Buck & I usually get 2 Bonus Doe tags for the freezer.

You have lots of those spotted hogs don't you Kent? The one I harvested last year was spotted...thought one of those was mine!

Last year at Burnie's place! Told you they were spotted.
