Hogs and bad weather
#1
I am going to be hunting hogs tomorrow in North Florida . I've got numerous game cam pics of hogs during rain storms and light rain. Over the last several days it has been non stop rain. My question is this. Does anyone here have any experience with hogs and severe bad weather? I am thinking I may need to change my tactics a little.

Yep. John they will walk all day. They especially start to use the roads to travel on because the ditches get hard for them to cross. If it is a nice drizzle just stay in the truck and cruise all over the property down there. It is nice to bang one and be able to drive right up to it and throw it in the back.
I am going this weekend. I will be up there tomorrow night.

Scored a nice sow about 80/90 lbs last night. Sat in my stand in the morning and nothing, sat on the roads in the afternoon when the rain stopped and the skys cleared up and nothing. Actuallythe pigs were hitting the feederswhen the sky cleared in the afternoon. So I lucked out about 7:30 last night a hog walked out of the brush diectly under my stand.
I reviewed my game cam pics this morning and noted their patterns changed at all my feeders. I am guessing because of the bad weather we've had over the past week.
