anyone use ballistic tips i have used core lokts for a long time thinking of trying something new. i dont know much about sierra gamekings.what about burger vlds never hear much on them.

When not using dogs, I use .243 100gr Sierra "Game Kings"..........

My "favorite" load in my 308 is 165 gr Corelokt, 46.5 grs Varget, CCI 250 primer in Lapua brass. I currently have my gun loaded with 170 gr round nose Corelokts using the same load data. The POI is exactly the same, and both loads group very well at 100 yards.

My favorite load for hogs is 100 grains of Goex Pinnacle behind a 240 grain .430 XTP in a Knight sabot.

I don't know if they are my favorites, but lately I have been using Hornady 150gr SST's in my 30-06, and Hornady 100gr BTSP in my .243.
