Please forgive my ignorance here but I thought a dry sow was one that was between litters and she had dried up her milk. How can you tell she has never been bred? Curious.

I'm not gay Jim! Don't provoke these two goobers! Hog killer yes, homo no.We were guessing this sow had never been bred cause she showed no signs of ever had nursed and no indication teets ever bagged out.And her butt end didn't look like The revs front! Don't start with me Kent...you may want me to help paint the cabin.

Don't start something you can't finish, I've know Rowel to drive two thousand miles to slap a man once...Don't mention the word finger to him, it reminds him of his doctor.. He hates doctors and mailmen.

Congrats on the sow. Here in SW OK it is pretty common to find old sows that have never had a litter.
I know that sow, I married her I'm about to send her big to OK.
I sure hope your old lady doesn't read this forum over your shoulder like mine does......if I ever typed a comment like that, she'd stick me! (and she's actually the better shot!!!)

I don't care, she's not going to be my wife for long... Feels good to get rid of 200 pounds of excess fat!!
