trying your ideas
I'm trying you fellers ideas this weekend, putting out strawberry jello in a hole for pigs. Those pigs from the neighbors made it to our pasture this past week but done all there work at night. I have had my milo and corn soaking for about two weeks to its time to put it out these weekend. Wish me good luck. Thanks for all ya'lls advice.

RE: trying your ideas
The trick is consistancy. feed them every day( it takes very little) at the same time and they will soon learn to line up at the feeder at 5:55 because it is going off at 6:00. About 1 to 2 pounds of corn a day is all it takes to keep LARGE herds staying near. If you feed to much they will not be as competitive for the chow.
