I hunt at night a lot. I've never used nightvision. Can't say I've ever seen it in action.

As long as there is no cloud cover, I can usually see good enough to manage. If not, I use a light (usually my MagLite).

I don't have any problem seeing either.. I hunt day light only. Don't like sneaking up on an injured pig at night. I guess if I gun hunted it might be different story.

You dont need any kind of nightvision stuff to hunt hogs at nite-all you need is a good spotlight about 3 million candlepower and a good 50 millimeter scope,and its bacon time.
