Default summer hog hunts?

I live in Orlando, Florida, and was wondering if anyone knew of any private lands or anywhere for hog hunting during the summer? If someone needs some work done in exchange for hog hunting (i.e. help with management or whatnot) I'd be more than willing.
Thanks
Scott

I made a generic post for both Varsityscott and Ben782 so I could put it up on both their posts.

First it sounds like you are both young men who might be going to college in Orlando the home of Mickey the Rat. Congrats. You both seem to be looking to learn the hunting in good old sunny Florida and might even be tempted to whack a hog or two. So I will give you an offer because God knows how hard it is when you are starting out. I did a lot of begging and hunted Green Swamp and many, many more WMA’s. BTW they can and will produce but you really have to put in your time. Leases are an option but IF you find one with an opening you will probably be paying through the nose and need a second job to cover the expense. First off I hope one of you has an automobile. If so you can hook up in Orlando and meet me somewhere near my lease. If you both ride share then it would cut your cost down and save some money for the important things in college. Beer, pizza, and condoms. So with that in mind I offer you a shot at doing some hunting on my lease up north. It is about 2 ½ hours from Orlando. Now why would a complete stranger do something like this? First because like I said I did a lot of begging to hunt when I got started. Second you made an offer to work a bit and maybe clear trails, feeders, put up stands, etc. Well I bet there might be a few guys that can attest that when I mean work a bit it can be damn hard. Examples.

Ever carry 100 pounds of corn on your back ¾ of a mile through 92 degree heat? You will look like you just stepped out of the swimming pool but without the fresh clean smell.
Ever climb trees to cut down vines that look like they are covered in daggers to create shooting lanes? I hate those damn vines.
Ever have to deal with mosquitoes that are the size of pigeons(my imagination)? I am talking about the black bastards with white stripes on their legs that feel like they are stabbing you with ice picks. What a freakin joy that is.
Nothing as much fun as digging post holes to erect feeders in a SWAMP with gators sitting 3 feet away.[/ul]

It can be a lot of work and I CANNOT guarantee that you will be successful in a hunt but right now I got a lot of pork to shoot at if you are interested. I go up there about every two to three weeks and sometimes play hookie on Friday.

Please feel free to give me a call or send me a P.M.
