.270 VS. 7mm. Rem. Mag...would I tell a difference on hogs?

maybe you should look at the .280 Rem. It has better bullet selection over the .270 and less recoil than the magnum. It is still a 7mm so the bullet selection is great. If you are a reloader this is the caliber I would choose. If not then maybe the other two listed are good choices

I have shot a .270 for around 35 years during that time I had a 30:06 a 308 a 7mm mag a 6mm o6 a 25:06 none of them compared to a .270 for deer black bear and hogs mine works just fine on elk to if you use good bullets and place them correctly they will all do the job the inherrent accuracy of a .270 gives it the edge as far as I am concerned. any more I use my crossbow most because its the most fun.
