Hey all, a friend of mine died recently and his significant other is looking to sell his mounts. Except for a few, they were all mounted by Frank Zitz, A world renowned taxidermist. He has won competitions for some of his stuff. He has a client that takes him to Africa when ever he goes, just so he can cape the animals for him when he shoots them! Nice work if you can get it I guess. He gets to hunt also.
Any way she has a couple dozen mounts of tsesebbe, impala, gemsbok, all the usual plains game animals, and she wants to sell them. He also has some nice american antelope, mule deer, and a few whitetails, Nothing spectacular though. Just nice mounts for decoration. Where would you guys list them for sale?

Contact the Taxidermist and see if there is a broker he recommends to sell them.
Cablela's will buy them as well. Not sure what they pay but a broker or Public Auction would likley bring more money.
