Nah Rev, these are skinny Piney Rooters that we put some weight on and sold to the Jamaicans and Cubans for the 2005 holidays. $5.00 a pd and $20.00 to butcher and scrape the hair off.

txrookie ; The reason I shot it is because I don't want the piggies to make it. The overpopulation of hogs on this property is rediculous. Pastures and crops are being seriusly damaged and we have to get the numbers down.
understand that ; ever try and trap them? you can get mama and all the littleones; and some good eating ones also.don't have to worry bout getting them out after dark.can clean them in the morning while it's cool.

one I got a few weeks back, put him in the trailer and cut him.wild ones around here bring more money than tame hogs.they ship them across the big pond (Japan and Chnia).mo $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
We have some crazy looking rooters in Texas, but I have never seen one colored like that. That is pretty cool. Id be tempted to keep it.

What are the hogs going for in your parts. Last time I took any to market they were paying about 60 cents a lb. for 200lb pluse hogs and less for smaller ones.

I have not tried trapping and I should. My brother in law and hunting buddy owns a fence company. I don't think material or know how will be a problem. I have a new project, thanks. Huntin Ma, I really, really didn't need to be thinking about what was in that wallow! LOL!
