Sounds to me like, If i saw a realy big cow in someones pasture and i decided just to stop the truck and shoot. is this what happened????

Last month he saw what he though was a cow in his pond and went to see if it was stuck in the mud and would have to be pulled out. When he got close enough to realize it was hog, the thing made a charge at him. He had driven his truck down to the pond and carries a pistol in it (as any Florida redneck would, and I say that with genuine affection). He got his handgun and when it came at him again, he shot it twice and killed it.

I saw that show and at the end they proved it was a hoax. The picture had been photo shopped and theskeleton that they dug up was nowhere near the proportions of "Hogzilla." It was still a big pig, but it wasn't about to destroy Tokyo.

Rev, that is the famous hog called Hogzilla. There was a show on the national geograpic channel on him a few months ago. Many people thought the story and the photo were fake. They ended up digging up the corpse to prove he was real.

Also they claim he has 16" tusks!WHATEVER!![:'(]Look at this guy in the pic.,any southern boy knows he is wearing your standard 16" rubber boot.The tusks are no where near that long.....4" at the mostThe one killed in FLA,has longer tusks.

No matter what he weighed he is a big hog. I persnally know how hard it is to guess a hogs weight, no matter how much experience one has. I have probably killed near 5 thousand hogs in my life and I still guess, way off some times. Hers is a pic of a boar I killed last week. One of the cowboys here on the ranch roped him several years ago, casturated, ear knoched him, and turned him loose. I am 6'1" and weigh 245, to use as a reference. What do ya'll think this one weighed?

Probably around 400 I'm guessing? I show hogs and that's what i would guess. I saw a 700 pounder at the state fair and it was well larger than the one in your picture. It also couldn't wwalk more than 10 feet and rolled over on it's babies...

just kidding, those are some large hogs no matter what they weighed and some interesting stories to go with them.
I have been offered to go on a hog hunt where I can shoot (2) 300-350 pound hogs. They are wild and the weights are garanteed. The man who puts on the hunt is a very good freind of one of my freinds and will let us hunt (2) wild hogs for $300.00 canadian. Is this a fair price?
This hunt is held on 12,000 acres in canada and we can stay as long as we like.
