1st Blackbuck
Got my first blackbuck this last week, I'll post a pic. when I get them.A 200 yard shot with a 7RM shooting 139gr. may have been a bit hot for this little guy, tore him up pretty good. How big is considered big enough to have mounted? Mine went no more than about 14 inches in his horns. It's my first BB and a trophie to me but is 14" a laughable mount or worth the $400.

Congrats! And a trophy is different to every person. If you feel it is a trophy by your definition then spend the money and get it mounted. If anyone criticizes your mount then they really do not deserve to be in your house to begin with. A true hunter would respect your decision as to what you would consider a mounter or not. Who knows this may be the only BB you ever get in your life. Opinions are like @$$holes everyone has one. Stick with yours!!!!

Mount it! Mount it! Mount it! I did not mount my first deer because I thought it was too small, I've regreted it ever since. The first of every different species you hunt is special, regardless of size. You'll be glad you did.
