Question Flintlock parts dimensions

Hi
have posted already under blackpowder--
a request for DIMENSIONS of all the components of a std
flintlock
tried building it ti scale from hundreds of ref fotos etc

but the relative sizes of frizzen /mainspring /hammer /pan etc are critical --the sear and rolling nut pose a problem --ie not engaging
correctly with the mainspring --also the temper /resilience
of all springs fades --
correct distances /thickness of steel plate etc etc are desperately
required
but alas 2 months /7 forums later
no dimensions accompany exploded parts fotos I have posted over & over
well --here goes again
can someone have mercy on my blistered fingers?

oh dear ---how to attach a foto to illustrate a point
where does one attach ---oh no --not foto bucket again ?

ok how to attach fotos ?
appreciate
Jackrab

Why not just go BUY a flintlock rifle, take the measurements yourself and draft out exact copies how you need them, then resell it for the same cost you have in it?

Seems a heck of a lot easier than trying to get a bunch of critical dims through an online forum.

wonder if u have ever lived in Central African bush?
buy a flintlock?--
er lotsa AK 47 s here --used by modern poachers ---shooting elephant /rhino etc
confiscated an ancient Portuguese musket ---had to hand it over to authorities
--most of original flintlock parts were missing /replaced with wire /rubber/welded junk

----so that's why I ask ----!

I must have missed that your extreme isolation was apparent in your first post.

Good luck in your quest. Considering its unique nature, I'll assume it will continue to be fruitless for some time to come, but if you search for anything long enough, usually you'll get lucky, so someone may eventually send you the info you've requested.
