my dad has a taurus raging bull that has a hammer lock built in the back side of the hammer and he cant find the key or tool (not sure what they call it or what it looks like myself) anyway was wandering if there was a way to get a new one or some other way to unlock it? Thanks for your help

turns out the gun wasnt locked after all. The pin that goes through the cylinder was loose and not depressing the catch in the frame wich wouldnt allow the hammer to go back

You should have one. Its the same for all Taurus handguns. Go to their site and drop them an email. They should send you one.
