As I suspected, everyone on this forum has some really nice hardware. Wow! I've never seen so many nice rigs in one place. USSR, that is a serious piece of hardware. Nice.

I have a couple of semis, but I can't call them my "favorite". When it comes down to asking" what rifle do I want in my hands when the shot is critical, "I want my good old model 70. I use a semi in thick stuff, where I may have to shoot more than once(never have) But I think that it's the stigma of "fast follow-up shot" that makes people a little less careful about shot placement when using a semi. I may be just a bit old fashioned too.

heres my favorite deer hunting rig, i have several good rigs all lever and bolt guns. but this one, I have used the most and has been with me on my most memorable hunts.
