Swampman - that has got to be the handsomest maple stock I have ever laid eyes on .
Roskoe,
Thank you. I Would like to take credit for it, but I got very lucky and bought the stock at a gun show. It was unfinished and I paid 120 for it. It sure was worth it. After quite a bit of work, it's a really outstanding piece of lumber. Thanks for the compliment.

BRIMAN,
That's one nice looking mauser! Did you do the restoration yourself? At any rate, it's the nicest 1899 I've seen.

Nope, no restoration was needed. I ordered it from Sarco inc a few years ago. It shoots as good as it looks too

I am sorry about this one, but it's hard to tell from this picture...there is a nice custom M700 with all the trimming in the back seat.... If ya look real hard maybe you can see it[8D]

I can't post picture yet but I could use Brimans picture. I have the same Sewde in NRA 98% condition. O also have the original sling, bayonetand flash suppressor. As with most all the Swedish Mausers, it shoots great. I have a couple more of them in different stages of sporterizing.
