I own a MKII International Mannlicher in 270. My only complaint is that it came out of the box with a bedding problem. Out of a cold barrel, the first shot was a flyer. The others grouped 1 1/2" or better. I tried to get the factory to help, and i tried everything i knew to solve the problem. Who solved it for me? Old Elk.

I have more then my fair share of M-77's.Never a complaint with them. Some of mine have never been fired. My one in 7mmRM didn't like the Federal Premium Ballistic tips.It seems to like the Remington Corelokts.I agree the triggers need to be lightened.Other then that they are a fine rifle.

Remintgon and Browning are the most accurate. I like how crisply their triggers break and the lock time is extremely quick.
I am thinkin about buyin a new rifle and the ruger 77 ultra light in .257 roberts or 7mm mauser is in consideration.

They would be perfect if the ever had a decent trigger and 24 in barrels on all calibers. Its easy to shorten a barrel but pretty tough to make it longer. 26 would be better yet.
