Rebel Hog. I know what you mean. My first rifle was an old Eddiestone with peep sights. I could shoot 250 yards or more at deer back then. When I shoot my Buffalo classic now I have to walk half down the bench to see the front sight. It has a rear peep and a globe front. I have a small circle insert in the front sight and I was suprised at how well I could see the target at 100 yards. I lost my good eye many years ago in a constuction accident and had to learn to shoot left handed with my none master eye. AAHH the golden years.[:'(]

I'd like to see one too. I am pretty opinionated when it comes to scopes.

James, I am right handed with LEFT dominate eye,but can't shoot left handed cause of an old ingury to left shoulder.
What I do is place a small stick-on tag on LEFT lense of shooting glasses, just enough to cover LEFT pupil and it has
worked good for me for years. I'm talking about SHOTGUNING. On rifles I use 4-12 x 44 or 50, but they have to be
good light gathering scopes. I have been using ZEISS scopes for about 15yrs or so.Over the years I have come down
on caliburs also, from 7mm Mags to .270 and last few years to 6.5 x 55 Swed., for Deer. I have a Ruger M77 SS/ Lam Stock
in .243. Quess that's my next one.
Yes the golden years!!!

Not just scopes either, it could have discussions on binos, red-dot, fiber sites, range finders, anything optical.

A forum for optics would be a good idea.
