There are several companies that chamber the 6mm, unfortunately they run several thousand one year then quit for three or four years. Ruger does make them most years in the 77 & no.1. I've got several. Two are customs and old WIN70, the other a REM 700 both have shilen barrels and will put 3 70gr bergers touching at 100yds. I've got two rem 600's great little carbines for thick brush or for kids/women(a note on these: DO NOT LOAN THEM OUT, YOU WILL PLAY SOME SERIOUS HELL EVER GETTING THEM BACK
). I hand load and there is quite a bit of potential to tap. I have had several people who use 243 shoot a yote w/ my 6mm and ALL commented on how their 243 doesnt perform like that. soo... keep looking the 6mm is worth it.

yea a 6mm rem is hard to find. I have a Remington model 7 youth in 6mm that they quit chambering about 10yrs ago i would never trade the gun for anything. cuts holes all day long with my 95gr Nosler BT reloads and whacks the heck out of whatever i shoot with it. the 6mm is deff a great long range caliber its capeable to really reach out there and touch something!

bought a 6mm today from a friend, its a remington m700 VLS it has had probably 10 boxes of ammo through it but couldnt pass it up the price was right 300 bucks!!!. Its a serious tack driver, at 100 yards with winchester super-X 100 grain pointed soft points its holds .75" groups.
