243 WSSM I got IT
Saw it at walmart Saturday advertised as a Model 70 243win Synthetic and Blued Barrel. After closer inspection it was a WSSM. Didn't know much about them, but thanks to you all and some others I decided I just had to have it.
Went back Yesterday and made the purchase. They did abackground check and rejected me Til the 18th. I came home and called Virginia State Police and asked if there was a problem as I didn't think I had done anything wrong at least not lately. The Guy said he had just called walmart back and gave them the approval#'s
So I went back and got it. Aint shot it yet as they didn't have any ammo for it so I have to go to Gander Mt this PM

Sounds like a good deal. You should gain about 100 fps over the standard 243. I think its a reloaders gun though as there are nowhere near the choices available as there are for the old standby.
