In good condition, it seems like a steal. Do you mean 308 or 338? Reason I ask is I know a simular deal. If there are no scratches on the stock or gun, and reasonalbly taken care of its a deal.

There has to be something to it. Always a catch. I got a friend selling his medallion 308 for basically 400 dollars. Has some scratchs however on stock, but shoots nice.

hmm thats a steal.....dont know whos selling it but if possible id ask to shoot it first....or a warrenty or something.....barrel could be ruined....or it just dont shoot good for however shoots it.....or too much gun for them and they are trying to get rid of it....or they are in a pinch and need cash.....or they are getting a divorice.....lots of good things for you....but somehting could be real fishy if its coming from a gun shop......gun shops would know its worth more...unless theres something wrong....check it out.....cant hurt to atleast look.....inspect it inside and out....if possible shoot it to make sure it holds a group.....or if it passes a good thouroguh visiaul check make sure you can return it if it doesnt shoot up to par......good luck....sounds like a good deal if everythings ok

Lost out waited a day to long,I went back today and they sold it.Talked to the gunsmith to find out what the story was and someone sold it to him after they won it in a raffle, and needed cash and didn't want it.DARNI should have trusted my instincts and bought it when I 1st saw it.
