I was thinking of purchasing a 6 X 24 X 44 Pentax Scope with a Duplex Reticle for my 7mm STW, but I don't know if the 6 power will work well for hunting big game. If I have to take a quick running shot is it going to be hard to find the animal on 6 power, or if I need to take a close shot, (less than 100 yd.) is it also going to be hard to see the animal quickly due to a blurred image? I have always hunted on 4 power. Please help 6 power scope hunters. Thank you in advance.

I bought a few months ago a Weaver Classic Variable scope 6x24x42mm for my Win 223 Coyote rifle. Once you get into the upper powers slightest bit of movement looks like major swaying.Even benching you see every heartbeat.I wish now I would have gotten the 2x10x50mm or 4x16x42mm as a max.I also noticed in the upper powers objects aren't very clear.I'm sure all the highpowered scopes are basically the same .I like my 3x9's which seems to fit the ticket as the best all around....
