I ordered a new rifle today or should I say backordered. It's a Browning A-Bolt Stainless Stalker .270WSM. I'm getting from a local gun shop. All of his distributers are out of them at the moment, but hopefully it will arrive in a few weeks. Maybe I could have found one elsewhere, but I'm all about small business loyalty. I'm thinking about topping it off with a Nikon Monarch 4-12X40mm or 5.5-16.5X44mm. The only problem is finding 2 pc scope mounts that I like.

wow davidsons even out of them, yep Ill say its backordered gosh but for how long?? have you thought the winchester version davidsons has 48 of them in stainless. id bet your dealer is supplied by davidsons next time youre in there ask.

Davidsons if one of his suppliers. I'm pretty much set on an A-bolt Stainless Stalker. I had an A-Bolt Hunter .30-06 about 10 years ago. It shot like a wet dream ! Lately most of my rifle have been Remington. I wanted to try a WSM and get another A-Bolt at the same time. The A-Bolt WSMs are getting alot of praise and I can't wait to try it out. The only problem is getting my hands on one. They seem to be a hot item.

LOL I know what you mean, years back I had a A-bolt in 300 win mag it was sweet gun it shot exactly how you said "like a wet dream".

I know some people in the gun business I'll see what I can turn up perhaps get you in touch with the right person and get you that A-bolt sooner.
