I killed my first deer with my new gun today . It is the last day of gun season in MS. This 215# 9pt came into the filed at about 4:50pm. I shot him at 175 yds. He was quartering away, and I hit him about 6 inches behind is front shoulder. He was shot with 140gr Winchester Accubond CT. Droped him dead in his tracks. There was no exit hole, but the damage at the entrance was massive. I've never seen anything like it. Those bullets don't mess around

Just wanted to share. I've been really excited because this is also the first large buck I have taken.

The rest of him is in my freezer. I didn't have my digital camera with me so I couldn't get dgtl pics of his entire body. I have some on reqular film that I will post after it is developed.
