I don't know anyone that has had any experience with either of these ar15 makers. I was looking at bushmaster and rock river, but the price difference is pretty significant from these two. The olympic arms has a lifetime guarantee on it, but to quote Tommy Boy " I can crap in a box and put a guarantee on it if it makes you feel better!!" So, I was hoping to get a little feedback from the forum.

Olympic arms should be fine... But check out these prices on RRA's, They have a guarantee on accuracy as well...

my guess is that the price difference can't be that much and in my opinion you get a better gun.

They are about 150 to 200 less depending on model, so I hope someone on here has fired some rounds through one or both. I'm not against spending the extra cash, but if I can save it, all the better. Thanks for the advice on the rock river, I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Make sure they are complete rifles... I haven't seen many complete AR's for $500, they might be kits... If you are up to putting one together, it is apparantely not difficult... You can go to ar15.com and check out what they have to say, they will know more than us here.
