I have had both for many yrs I love them both both are tack drivers at 50yd and are fun to shoot but i shoot my 10/22 almost everydaya nd the 77/22 once or twice a yr If i was picking only one it would be the 10/22

Both are excellent rifles. The 10/22 is faster shooting if that's what you want. The 77/22 helps you keep in practice using a Bolt Action , if your hunting rifle is a Bolt Action.There are allot of accessories for the 10/22. Both are backed by Ruger's repair Policy.Have the best of both worlds.Buy one of each.... I don't have 77/22 but it would be nice to have one just to touch up before hunting season and using a Bolt Action. Ruger Redhawk
