I have an Ultra Carry and Custom 2 and both are very good autos,accurate and reliable. I belive that S&W machines Kimbers frames and slides.

Kimber machines their own frames and slides, there was one point in their history that they had Smith do some for them, but for at least the last 5 years it has not been that way.
