In the open areas I'll be using a k98 in 30-06 also, in the brush, a 307 Winchester. But you never know, I may christen the customized Husqvarna in 6.5x55 I just just got done refinishing. Sadly enough if I do end up hunting NJ this year I'll be limited to my Rem 870 12 ga. probably use sabot slugs.

i have to say of all the guns i jear that people have on this board. you have to have TWO OF THE BEST guns here. i would love to get my hands on both kinds of guns you have in those chamberings. but never see them.

by the way.. is that rem 7600 in 35 whelen wood stock or synthetic?
