Default Red Dot Scope

Has anyone put one of the red dot scopes on there shotgun. I was thinking of putting a Tasco Red dot scope on my Mossberg 12 ga, which I mostly use for deer (i have a rifle barrel). I had a fixed old busnell scope which messed up. This year each time I went hunting I stumbled upon deer and they got the jump on me, so I have read that the red dots are easy to focus in on, any takers or advise. thanks guys.

I have played with a bunch of red dot scopes and I think the tasco, even though it is inexpensive, compares well with the other ones out there... for a little more I also like the bushnell as it has many different interchangeable recticles.

I think it will work fine on a shotgun, even with the heavy recoil... But if it doesn't you are only out 30 bucks. I put a Bushnell Holosight on my Turkey gun (12-gauge 500 mossberg) and it works great.

I have a red dot on my deer and turkey shotguns.
I love them.
The Tasco should work good.

Thanks guys, how easy is it to fix in on a target compared to a regular shotgun scope?

I would say it is easier than a scope at under 50 yards, but personally I like the magnification outpast that.
