Personally, I wouldn't give them a cent more for the "pre-ban" label, in case you haven't heard, there ain't no ban any more, so these rifles aren't anything special, there's more just like it being made every day now.

actually Colt is making their Assault weapons LE and military only no sales to civilians, so if you want a brand new colt its still gonna be the same thing you would have had to buy during the ban unless you are LE or military. So if you can get your hands on a pre ban colt I give you 2 thumbs up and pay whatever it is worth to you if you are happy then that is all that matters and who cares what some other J@ck @ss thinks. Because I am neither LE or Military Colt can kiss my @SS!!!! Bushmaster all the way, besides with a buffer and a little tweaking the bushmaster can be better then a Colt, Oh but you say the colt is battle proven..... the bushmaster is deffinatelly battle worthy, from my experience with them I can easily say I could rely on one for my life. Just the federal government likes to buy the lowest quality from the highest bidder, just because they are half @ss backwards like that it doesnt mean a colt is better then bushmaster.
