Default Benelli or Stoeger

I've been looking into buying a new super black eagle and stumbled upon a Stoeger... half the price of a Benelli with the same inertia-recoil system as the Benelli. Anyone shot this particular gun?

i would love to shoot the stoeger just havent had the chance; i have handled a couple of them in the store, seem to be well made; but i do own a sbe and would not give it up for the stoeger and $1k.

I understand that. Looks like the only down fall with the Stoeger is it doesn't shot 3 1/2's. Man, the sbe is a sweet shooting gun.

o yeah, very nice. the only problem i had was i had been shooting a 870 wingmaster (pump action) for over 10 years and i kept kept trying to cycle the action after each shot with my benelli, took some getting used to.

In answer to your question, I have one that Is used for trap shooting.
This shotgun works flawlessly. I have the 28" barrel version.
It has good balance and pointability, and with the benelli recoil system, it is a joy to shoot. I think that for a semi auto in the low $300. range. It has got to be the best deal on the market today. Did I mention it comes with 5 screw in chokes? Would buy another in a heartbeat.

KB,

What is the exact name of the Benelli semi-auto that is in the low 300s. Where can I get it? Does it come in a camo pattern?

Thanks
Tom

The Benelli Nova is in that price range, but it is a pump.

I bought a stoeger 2000 back in the start of Oct. I would never NEVER NEVER buy another and I tell people not to buy them. They have worst customer service in the world. Before you buy go their website in the forums and read about how bad there sevice is! My fore stock split in half their are to peices instead of one. I have contacted them and they say it won't be under warranty but they may replace it . I hope so! don't buy a stoeger!!!! you will regret it .
