I was out shooting my rifle today and sometimes when I shot it the button to break the gun open would be stuck and you really had to push it hard to open it. Anybody know what causes this?

Are you shooting reloads? It sounds like the actiopn is not locking tight. This can happen if loads are to long. Also if the gun is dirty and metal filings are present that could keep it from locking. Take it apart and clean the hell out of everything you can get to.
