I have a Remington 7mm08 and it likes handloaded Nosler Ballistic tips in 140 grain pushed by 40.5 grains of IMR 3031

try either winchester 7mm-08 power points or silvertips ( not ballistic silvertips) if you can find them. but if you dont mind spending money on premium ammo try winchester supreme fail safe or nosler partition. heres another thats really good is federal premium nosler solid base BT 140 grain.
