Yup! Unless I know I gotta have a scope, and at age 55, I am probably heading that way! :-) One of the things about modern build rifles is that the stocks are pretty much set for scope height and you have to fight your way down into the iron sights to line them up. Eg, I was looking at a Ruger #1 in 416 Rigby (drool!) but I would much prefer a stock with a shotgun type drop and a peep sight on something like this. Doubt that I will get it, but whoever buys it will find scoping it interesting. I wonder if 4" eye relief will make it?

For Pistol Or Rifle,

I Like The Patridge Sight.

With A Stigamatisam In My Eyes I Can't See Front Ramp Very Good.

Peep Is Pretty Good For Rifle To.

So The Patridge Sight Works Well For Me.

For Irons - Peep and thin bladed front sight with smallish bead, rather than a post
