suprised Burris wasn't on the list.....biggest bang for the buck is the 4-14 Burris Fullfield II with the ballistic plex reticle. I've switched out nearly all my leupolds to the Burris.

Leupold Vari XII 4X fixed for deer and bear. My other favorite is a Leupold Vari XIII 3.5X10X50mm on a Wby I use for elk.

Most of my hunting is done in the close woods of Jack County Texas, and it is rare that you get a good shot over 100 yds. While I have use leupolds, and know they are the best scopes made, my Bushnell sharpshooter 3-9x40 is more than enough at that range.

My favorites are:

HP Rifle setup is my Browning A-Bolt II Stainless Stalker 270 Win. with 3.3-10x44 Nikon Titanium.

Muzzleloader is my TC Encore 209x50 Magnum Stainless with 1.5-4.5x20 Nikon Monarch UCC.

Slug gun is my Remington SP 870 12ga Super Slug with the same 1.5-4.5,20 Nikon Monarch UCC.

Needless to say, my choice in optics is the Nikon.

The new Nikon Monarch Gold will be my next purchase to put on my 7mm Magnum BAR.
