I just received a weatherby mark v lazermark in 257 calibre as a gift and was wondering what would be a good bullet choice for whitetails. thanks

Well, for whitetail anything is ok, but assuming its a 257weatherby, I would say any X bullet would be best. Partition, or any of the new bonded bullets like Accubonds or intrabonds.

I use the barnes x 100gr in my 25/06 with good luck ..

Try the Sierra #1650. 120 grains of pure kick butt on deer. They'll work up a load easy and you'll save allot of money over the "premium" bullets and they're lightning on deer!
